The Rotary Foundation Committee of District 5450 is dedicated to promoting and supporting our clubs' local and international projects. Our mission is to drive impactful projects, raise awareness, and solicit donations and help meet the funding needs, ensuring we make a difference both locally and globally.

The Rotary Foundation Playbook
Our work is supported by five subcommittees, each playing a crucial role in advancing the mission of The Rotary Foundation within District 5450:
1. Polio Eradication
Join our global fight to eradicate polio and ensure every person is protected against this preventable disease.
2. Fundraising
Our fundraising efforts encompass several key areas to ensure robust support for Rotary initiatives:
- Annual Giving: Drive contributions to sustain ongoing projects and programs.
- Points: Leverage the Rotary points system to maximize giving potential.
- Paul Harris Society: Encourage and recognize significant yearly financial contributions.
- Endowment Fund: Build a lasting legacy to support future Rotary endeavors.
3. Grants
We provide and manage grants to support a variety of projects and initiatives:
- District Grants: Fund local and international projects with immediate community impact and are completed in one year.
- Global Grants: Support large-scale international projects addressing critical issues that span over a year.
- Humanitarian Projects: Focus on sustainable solutions for global challenges.
- Vocational Training Teams: Enhance skills and knowledge through specialized training.
- Rotary Global Grant Scholarships: Empower individuals through educational opportunities.
4. Stewardship
We ensure accountability and proper use of funds through rigorous stewardship:
- District Qualification: Maintain high standards for district-level grant eligibility.
- Club Qualification: Equip clubs with the necessary qualifications to apply for grants.
- Financial Assessment: Conduct thorough financial evaluations to ensure transparency.
5. World Peace Fellowships
Promote global peace and understanding by providing scholarships for leaders committed to conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
