MINDY HANSON DISTRICT GOVERNOR 2028-2029
Mindy Hanson is a Colorado native and an avid traveler who has visited six of the seven continents, including Antarctica, where she met her husband, Chris, while working at McMurdo Station. She is a proud mother to Rhys, a student at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Mindy has been a member of the Rotary Club of Evergreen since 2019 and served as Club President from 2024 to 2025. Rotary is a multigenerational part of her life. Her grandfather was a Rotarian in Michigan and Englewood, and her father, Tom Bieging, is a current member of the Rotary Club of Denver Southeast. She currently serves as Chair of the Area 8 District Project, Imagination Library, and is passionate about expanding access to books and promoting early childhood literacy. She is also proud to have served as the 2025 District Conference Chair and the District Scholarship Chair.
Professionally, Mindy is the owner and founder of Wild Iris Marketing, a strategic marketing firm that works with small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations. She specializes in helping organizations make effective use of the resources they have through thoughtful, strategic marketing that supports growth, clarity, and long-term sustainability.
Mindy earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Regis University in Denver.
Mindy lives in Evergreen, Colorado, with her two dogs, a flock of happy chickens, and a thriving hive of bees. Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and attending football and lacrosse games.
Mindy values collaborative leadership, thoughtful communication, and creating space for individuals and organizations to connect around shared purpose. As District Governor, she is excited to strengthen connections between clubs, support engaged and sustainable membership and help clubs identify and amplify the impact of the work they are already doing in their communities and the world.
