IS YOUR CLUB A LEAKY BUCKET?Happy New Year! How happy can it be when we’re leaking members like a rusty bucket? District-wide we inducted 387 new members last year. Great news? Not so fast. We terminated 438 members. That’s a loss of 51 members. 40 of them before they completed the year. New Years is a time to make resolutions. Here are mine:
I resolve to build a District Membership Team (DMC) that will respond to your calls for information, ideas, insights, and maybe even inspiration.
I resolve to share my energy and enthusiasm for Rotary with you all.
My request to each of you is that you resolve to notice and thank each member, and listen to them, not just today, but throughout the Rotary year.
We know each member adds value to our clubs. When members feel valued, they stay.
Thank you for opening and reading this newsletter. Thank you for caring about your community and the world. Thank you for stepping up to be a Rotarian.
Happy New Year!
Lynn
