EXCLUSIVE GRAYS PEAK CLIMB – SIGN UP NOW!

Join District Governor Curt Harris for a once in a lifetime experience climbing Grays Peak with two experienced climbers, Eric Weihenmeyer and Pem Dorjee Sherpa. Eric is the first blind man to ever make it to the summit of Mount Everest and Pem is the first man to be married on the summit.

This is an exclusive event on August 1st with only 14 climbers. We are asking climbers who would like to share in this experience to donate $1,500 to help Eric’s No Barriers Foundation. (We would be willing to accept a minimum gift of $1,000.) For more details or to register for the climb please contact Laurie Romberg at laurieromberg@comcast.net. Plan for a wonderful day of inspiration, climbing, and fellowship.
At day break (6AM) these men will share a climb on August 1st (or 2nd depending on weather) up Grays Peak near George Town, creating a special day of one-on-one time learning about the personal journeys they had at the top of the world. After the climb there will be a reception at Tommy Knockers Brewery in Idaho Springs. There, we will be providing Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

Curt is providing this experience in hopes to increase your awareness of Eric’s foundation No Barriers, and to raise money for its mission: to unleash the potential of the human spirit through transformative experiences, brought to life globally through powerful stories that foster shared identity and community. He works primarily with youth and veterans to get past their mindsets of difficulty and set them free from those barriers and to know the inner strength they have to face their challenges.
