DENVER LODO ROTARY CLUB ENDOWMENT GIFT
Rotary District 5450 is honored to receive a generous $62,000 endowment gift from the remaining members of the closing Rotary Club of Denver LoDo. This meaningful contribution establishes a lasting legacy in support of Rotary’s work across the District.
The endowment will be managed by The Denver Foundation and is expected to provide an annual 5% distribution to the District. With no specific restrictions designated, these funds will support the ongoing mission of District 5450, including leadership development, Club President training, and enhanced support for local clubs.
An agreement to establish this permanent agency endowment fund was finalized on March 12, 2026, with annual distributions to begin in January.
Chartered in 1994, the Rotary Club of Denver LoDo was founded by a diverse group of like-minded business leaders in downtown Denver. Over more than 30 years, the club made a meaningful impact through a wide range of local and international service projects, including significant youth-focused initiatives.
On March 15, past and present members, along with friends of the club, gathered for a final celebration to honor its legacy and contributions in service. Among those in attendance was founding member John Hickenlooper, who reflected on the profound influence Rotary has had on his life and public service.
District 5450 leadership extends its sincere gratitude for this generous gift, which will continue to support and strengthen Rotary’s mission for years to come.
