CASTLE ROCK HIGH NOON DONATES BIKES TO NAVAJO PEOPLECastle Rock High Noon Rotary Club organized the delivery of 40 bikes to our Navajo (Diné) friends. The bikes were donated to the Diné people by Second Chance Bicycle Shop https://www.facebook.com/secondchancebicycleshop/.
Castle Rock High Noon Rotary Club has worked with our Diné friends now for nearly a decade bringing books for their school library and their Community Development group “Chinle Planting Hope’s” Mobile Library. https://www.chinleplantinghope.com/
We have also provided trucks full of supplies during the whole reservation pandemic shutdown and have provided many trucks of goods for Chinle Planting Hope’s thrift store. For many years we have presented one by one in person, dictionaries to approximately 2000 3rd graders through the Chinle, AZ School District. For more information or to help in future work with our Diné projects, please contact Denise Harris-Frazier at 720-244-5199.
