The role of the District Membership Committee (DMC) is to help clubs implement strategies that will support club vitality. This can include growth in membership, diversity, outreach, improving the club experience for its members, and developing new club models. Rotary clubs are unique, influenced by numerous factors, and have varied aspirations for membership and growth.
For clubs to stay healthy and vibrant, strategic efforts to address member attrition, recruitment, and engagement become essential to a club’s success and relevance in a community. Improving the member experience always requires thoughtful review. By focusing on the member experience, retention, and attraction, we create opportunities for bringing in new members with fresh perspectives and energy.
