For: Honors a Rotarian in District 5450 who has significantly improved membership and club growth by demonstrating leadership, a positive role model and commitment. This Rotarian inspires others by their positive example, is inventive, dedicated to member retention, and consistently demonstrates Service Above Self in their actions.
Type: New plaque suitably engraved with the name of the award recipient and $100 contribution to non-profit of winner’s choice.

Rules: The Mary Kay Hasz Membership Award recognizes a Rotarian in District 5450 whose efforts have resulted in significantly improving club membership, spirit and energy. The Award Committee takes into consideration the size and resources of a club, so that smaller clubs have the same opportunity for recognition as larger clubs. Award applications/ nominations should be presented in essay form.
History: The Award is named for Mary Kay Hasz, current member and past Membership Chair of the Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch, past District Governor of District 5450, and Paul Harris Society member. This award was initiated in 2020 by the Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch in recognition of Mary Kay Hasz’s 25 plus years of outstanding contributions in membership to the Rotary Club of Highlands.
