District Grants
District Grants Process 2025-2026
District grants support club-sponsored humanitarian projects aligned with The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and District 5450 missions. These hands-on Rotarian projects address immediate needs in both local and international communities.
Online Submission Process
- Log into the District website www.rotary5450.org using your ClubRunner information - if you do not remember your login email office@rotary5450.org to reset.
- Click on Member Area in the top right corner
- Click on Grants in the top left corner
- Click Submit a Grant Request (or if your grant is already started, click on My Club Grants)

District Grant Funding
- Matching Funds: Club funds are matched $1 to $1 with District Designated Funds (DDF) up to specified limits. District Grants do not receive additional matching funds from TRF.
- DDF Pool: $116,000 is available for District Grants in 2025-2026. The DDF pool for District Grants is separate from that for Global Grants.
- Funding Allocation: Approved applications receive DDF until the pool is exhausted. Awards may be prorated in the month the DDF runs out.
- Club Limits: The maximum DDF available to a club is $6,000 for all projects during the grant year. The maximum DDF per project is $3,000 for the Sponsoring Club.
Project Limits Based on Club Contributions
- $3,000 for a single club.
- $4,000 for two clubs.
- $5,000 for three clubs.
- $6,000 for four or more clubs.
Conflicts of Interest
All Rotary Grants must meet The Rotary Foundation (TRF) conditions related to Conflicts of Interest. Any potential conflict must be disclosed in the application. A Rotarian with a conflict may not be a member of the grant’s committee or involved in oversight.
