Engage to Grow: Designing EPIC Events That Build Belonging

Events don’t grow membership. Intentional events do.

At our March 11th Membership Huddle, we’ll highlight the full potential of EPIC Day of Service, not just as a project, but as a powerful platform for visibility, connection, and growth.

The EPIC Day of Service event and website offer valuable tools and resources to help clubs host dynamic, high-impact events. When used fully and intentionally, EPIC Day can become more than a day of service - it can become a catalyst for engagement and belonging.

Using EPIC Day as our live case study, we’ll explore how to:

• Prepare with purpose — designing your event around people, not just tasks
• Connect with intention — so every interaction becomes an invitation
• Follow through to belonging — so guests return and relationships deepen

You’ll leave with practical tools and ideas your club can implement immediately as you prepare for May 16.

Our featured guest speaker, Brianna Sherman, Director of Global Expansion for EPIC Day of Service, will share how coordinated, high-energy service moments amplify Rotary’s visibility and create meaningful opportunities for community connection.

We’ll also introduce Engage to Grow, a district support framework designed to help clubs translate service energy into sustained involvement.

Let’s design EPIC Day- and every future event - with intention.

Join us on March 11 at 4:00 PM via Zoom.
