"Reimagining Rotary: Creating Clubs for the Future “
Join Rotarian Virginia McKenzie as she shares her inspiring journey of founding a new club in the Seattle area dedicated to addressing human trafficking. Virginia’s story offers more than inspiration—it provides practical steps, valuable insights, and encouragement for Rotarians looking to:
  • Redefine their club’s mission.
  • Launch a satellite club.
  • Start a brand-new club.
Virginia will talk about the challenges and victories of transforming a Rotary dream into a meaningful community impact.  We’ll also take time to explore our own Rotary dreams for our club, embracing the power of collaboration and support.  Together, let’s explore what’s possible for the future of our Rotary clubs!

Biography: Virginia McKenzie built her Rotary reputation on innovation. She joined Rotary 17 years ago.  Originally a member of Seattle 4 Rotary, where she launched the Young Rotary Leaders Committee. Next, she launched Seattle City Rotaract, the first community-based Rotaract Club in District 5030. Most recently she is the charter President of the Rotary Club of the Pacific Northwest Ending Sex Trafficking.  She’s been featured in the ROTARY Magazine twice for her successes in club expansion. We are very pleased to feature Virginia McKenzie today!

“This is a changing world: we must be prepared to change with it. The story of Rotary will have to be written again and again.”       -Paul Harris.
