Following is a brief description of the program, Peacebuilding Through Dialogue and Belonging, and a bio of our speaker, Linda Low.

TOPIC:  Peacebuilding Through Dialogue and Belonging - Linda was one of 10 Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Fellows during the 2016 presidential election in the U.S.  She founded a program called Community Leadership Dialogues which convenes diverse voices in facilitated conversations to reduce polarization.  More than 2,000 people have participated.  90% of those surveyed say the experience has changed how they will approach future dialogue.  Linda will take you on a road trip in her dialogue journey across the globe, share what she’s learned, and the change she wants to mobilize with Rotarians in peace building.

BIO:  Linda Low -- Formerly with the International Red Cross, Linda was a Rotary Peace Fellow at the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center. She is the founder of an initiative called Leadership Dialogues that decrease polarization and enable dialogue across difference. She also is the founder of the Rotary Club of Global Partners in Peace and is currently Executive Director of the U.S. section of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, an international non-governmental organization active in 40 countries.  Linda is the 2025 recipient of the Rotary International Champion of Peace award.

You will receive a link on May 1, 2025, to join the Zoom meeting at 6:30 pm Denver time.   LOOK FOR YOUR TIME ABOVE AND WATCH FOR A LINK FROM ME IN YOUR EMAIL THURSDAY MORNING OF THE EVENT.
