Following is a brief description of the program, No Peace Without Connection:  The Rotary-IEP Partnership, and a short bio of our speaker, Summer Lewis.

• How Rotary members can “do” Positive Peace: tools for action

BIO:   Summer Lewis currently manages Rotary International’s strategic partnership with the Institute for Economics & Peace, providing educational tools and coordinating training for Rotary members to understand and take action to build peace. She began her Rotary journey as a university student, thanks to a Volunteer Service Grant to Guatemala, and was later selected as a Rotary Peace Fellow, completing a Master of International Studies, Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2012. Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, Summer has spent more than half her life abroad – working, living, and traveling across 42 countries and 6 continents. Summer currently calls Oaxaca, Mexico home.
