Literacy Award - Englewood

For: Each year Englewood Rotary honors a club that changes lives through literacy. Projects may involve literacy and/or numeracy. In your nomination letter, we suggest that you outline 1. The goals for your project, and how you met them 2. The particulars of your project, including the target audience and means of delivery 3. The level of club or club family participation 4. Investment in time, talent and money. Photographs that document your project would be appreciated, but are not required.  Because so many clubs in our district are doing wonderful literacy projects, we limit a club's eligibility to once every three years. (This exemption may be appealed if a significant new development occurs.) The Awards Committee also takes into consideration the size and resources of a club relative to the project, so that smaller clubs have the opportunity for recognition as well as larger clubs.
