History: The Bemis Award is named for the late Edwin A. Bemis, long-time editor/publisher of the Littleton Independent. He was a president of the club and coined the name "Editarian" for the editors of the Rotary Club Bulletins. Ed was governor of District 113 in 1943-44, which included present Districts 5440, 5450 & 5470.
